Welcome Readers and Writers,
Transcurrent is a journal dedicated to helping the literary community in this little part of Southern California grow. We're a mixture of poets and fiction writers and just plain scribblers on the subway walls, and will look to promoting and publishing quality writing.
As part of Transcurrent's effort to find and promote local artists, we periodically feature writers that we are fans of--people that, as I conceive of it, "live the life"--inspiring, dedicated writers. We are proud to feature their work at readings, in our journal, and here on this website.

We also hope to use this website and blog as a sort of a kite we can send up into the storm, a way to find interesting things out there and report on them here for our readers and friends.
